第三届PATA探险旅行与尽责旅游大会暨交易会（AT&RTCM）将于2012年2月3-7日在不丹帕罗市隆重开幕。以“创造高效益，减少碳足迹”为主题，本次展会将成为不丹主办的首个B2B旅游专业展。
不丹坐落于喜马拉雅山东麓，东、西、北三面与中国接壤，南部与印度交界，是个内陆国家。不丹人口约70万，南部平原属湿润的亚热带气候，北部山区气候寒冷，平均海拔超过七千米。
“首次次在不丹迎来PATA探险旅行与尽责旅游大会暨交易会，令我们倍感荣幸。”不丹旅游局（Tourism Council of Bhutan）局长格桑·旺迪（Mr Kesang Wangdi）表示，“我相信，这一国际展会的举办，将有助于加深公众对旅游的理解与认识，深化旅游发展对社会的积极影响。”
大会期间，来自国际、地区和不丹本地的演讲嘉宾将同与会的代表和来宾分享其在尽责和探险旅游领域积累的宝贵经验、现状评述和趋势预测。交易会环节将定位主要来自日本、中国台湾、西欧、澳大利亚、美国、加拿大，以及新加坡、中国香港、上海等亚洲城市的高品质买家。
众所周知，不丹摒弃了大众旅游的发展路径，而遵循“高效益，低影响”的旅游发展原则。这一举措大获成功，也为该国赢得了广泛的国际声誉。
不丹旅行商协会（Association of Bhutanese Tour Operators）主席卡玛·洛特（Mr Karma Lotey）表示：“我们热烈欢迎PATA代表光临不丹——这个以国民幸福为终极发展目标，长期致力于生态环境与文化传统保护的美丽国度。希望展会期间的交流与互动能够营造积极务实的商务氛围，缔结友谊，为代表们留下美好的回忆。”
2010和2011年初，AT&RTCM分别在尼泊尔的加德满都和博卡拉召开，并取得圆满成功。本次展会也将组织一系列丰富多彩的网络研讨会、论坛和社交活动。 “
