2011年PATA“未来之星”（Face of the Future）评选投票正在如火如荼地进行中。从即日起至11月15日，PATA会员机构可以登录PATA60周年专题网站http://www.pata.org/pata60/faceofthefuture，了解候选人情况，并投出宝贵的一票（至多评选三位候选人）。 每年，PATA“未来之星”都会聚焦青年业者群体，从中推选出一位努力推动亚太地区旅行与旅游业发展与变革的杰出个人。2011年的奖项候选人分别来自不丹、缅甸、泰国和萨摩亚等多个国家及地区。尽管年纪尚轻，但所有候选人均为亚太旅游发展做出了突出的贡献。 候选人背景各异，从酒店业主、旅行商，到企业家、旅游教育界人士。他们不仅成就非凡，对旅游发展为当地社区带来影响的深入理解同样令人钦佩。 11月中旬投票截止后，脱颖而出的五位候选人将各自提交一段视频（短于三分钟），详述各人迄今的经历、感悟，及对未来的期冀。PATA执行理事会主持复审，最终产生“未来之星”奖项得主及第二名，并于2011年3月1日正式公布。
“未来之星”奖项得主将于PATA成立60周年庆典暨年会期间（2011年4月9-12日，中国北京）受邀出席特设的颁奖仪式，并有机会和包括高层政要和业界领袖在内的名流精英共同参会。
