“PATA未来之星”大奖，是亚太旅游协会（PATA）为表彰亚太地区旅游业青年精英设立最高荣誉。马来西亚泰勒大学学科主任、旅游、节事与游憩学院高级讲师托尼·K·托马斯先生荣膺2010年“PATA未来之星”大奖。 在4月25日举行的PATA基金会慈善晚宴上，PATA向托马斯先生正式授予了该奖项。下半年，他还将作为特邀嘉宾出席2010年法兰克福国际会议与奖励旅游展（IMEX），并享受差旅补助。 托马斯先生祖籍印度，现在马来西亚任教。
他的教学与学术研究成果很大程度上填补了旅游及相关领域的空白，尤其是在可持续旅游方面。托马斯先生曾多次受邀出席马来西亚国内及国际学术会议，并发表论文，内容涵盖目的地建设、目的地基准分析和目的地旅游可持续管理等领域。部分论文现已集结出版。 在联邦旅游中心和印度政府等权威机构的帮助下，托马斯先生一直致力于培训马来西亚和印度的高校教员、政府官员与旅游业者，培训内容覆盖从目的地营销到可持续旅游发展等诸多领域。
他曾于2009年组织泰勒大学旅游专业的学生参与PATA总部的实习生培训项目。在辅导实习期间，他努力确保学生都能从实践中获益，真正实现学以致用的目标。 托马斯先生表示：“我将与以PATA为代表的旅游机构密切合作，发挥专长，为旅游业各领域的健康发展贡献力量。”

What IS funny about that is the spelling of the name Philip . I have a saying that simply states We must watch out for two types of people. One is the person who alteranates the lEttErs iN woRDs with UpPer and lower cASe letters and Philip’s who spell their name with one L. Espcially the PhiLIps.

But who ever does your content is a rather funny person. They should be doing stand up comedy as a side job.
