日前，亚太旅游协会（PATA）正式宣布，其崭新的网络信息服务平台——“旅游信息图形架构”（Travel Intelligence Graphic Architecture，简称 TIGA）的一期建设顺利完成并向用户开发。PATA联合马来西亚创新技术公司（CAT）共同开发的TIGA平台，将为访问PATA网站的广大会员及订购服务的业界用户创造获取海量统计数据、分析及预测的崭新机会。平台启动仪式于PATA年度会议及旅游研讨会首日在马来西亚古晋市隆重举行。
建成后的TIGA平台将有能力提供包括国际入境接待数据、预测、航班频率与载客量、酒店接待与盈利情况统计，以及旅游业者关注的其它经济数据在内的大量信息。根据浏览权限的大小，TIGA将信息服务分为三个等级：
1. 标准服务——访问网站的任一用户均可查阅
2. 高级服务——仅供注册后的PATA会员查阅
3. 贵宾服务——仅供付费后的注册用户查阅
TIGA平台的二期服务将于今年9月PATA旅游交易会期间正式推出，而整个平台（三期）将于2011年第二季度完成建设并投入使用。对此，PATA首席执行官格雷格·达菲尔评价道：“作为交互式的信息检索平台，TIGA能够辅助旅游业者做出明智的决策。TIGA是PATA英文站的重要组成部分，彰显了PATA努力提升会员利益的决心。”
去年，PATA与CAT公司（一家总部于马来西亚、业界领先的在线旅游解决方案提供商）缔结了的战略伙伴关系，旨在为全球范围内的PATA会员提供创新技术服务与支持。TIGA平台的诞生正得益于此。通过与PATA的战略合作，CAT基于“标准在线旅游架构”（Standard Online Tourism Architecture，简称SOTA）的核心技术，研发推出了TIGA平台。双方均希望以此为契机，通过技术合作共同推动创意旅游的发展。
