PATA理事会主席蓬丝丽·玛诺韩女士（Phornsiri Manoharn）于日前荣膺泰国国家形象委员会（National Identity Board）授予的“年度杰出人物奖(Outstanding Person of the Year)”。2009年3月退休前，玛诺韩女士曾在泰国旅游局任职多年并卓有成就。诗琳通公主出席了在曼谷迟塔拉达宫举行的颁奖典礼，并亲自为蓬丝丽·玛诺韩女士颁奖。 “年度杰出人物奖”共设四个类别的奖项，分别授予在社会发展、经济建设、科技创新、以及国家形象与声誉推广方面做出突出贡献的个人。玛诺韩女士获得的奖项彰显了她在经济建设领域的杰出成就。
她表示，“多年来，我一直致力于推广泰国旅游产业，并努力提升泰国的国际形象。在未来的日子里，我希望继续为旅游发展贡献余热，即使是以我个人的名义。” 玛诺韩女士是2009年获得该项殊荣为数不多的个人之一。
