亚太旅游协会主席及首席执行官会见国家旅游局副局长祝善忠

        1月28日，亚太旅游协会（PATA）主席蓬丝丽•马诺韩女士及首席执行官格雷格•达菲尔先生在泰国总部共同会见了国家旅游局副局长祝善忠先生一行。

        蓬丝丽•马诺韩女士首先就中国旅游业近些年来所取得的成绩，向祝善忠局长表示祝贺，并感谢中国国家旅游局长期以来对PATA的支持与帮助。马诺韩女士表示，她对中国旅游业2010年的发展前景充满信心，并希望在新的一年继续深化PATA同国家旅游局之间的合作。

        祝局长对未来能够同PATA在旅游业界继续展开合作表示期待，并对蓬丝丽•马诺韩女士被泰国国家形象委员会授予“年度杰出人物奖”予以祝贺，在肯定中国旅游业近年来飞速发展的同时,他还向马诺韩女士表示，去年以来中国国家旅游局和全国旅游业界积极应对全球金融危机，已努力实现了“国内旅游市场和出境旅游市场增长，入境旅游市场小幅下降”的格局。希望在今后能够联合更多像PATA一样的强大业界力量，共同推动旅游业的发展。

        在上海世博会即将到来之际，格雷格•达菲尔先生对2010年中国国家旅游局计划在全球100个城市和全国100个城市开展的世博旅游宣传推广活动表示赞同，并向祝局长表示，PATA将积极利用各种机会宣传推广上海世博会，例如，将联系不断在PATA网站上刊登关于世博旅游的消息，同时还将不遗余力地继续推进PATA与中国之间的旅游合作。 此外，双方还就今后计划开展的合作项目和共同关心的议题交换了意见。
